Indianapolis Fire Department - Station 29 - 602 East Pleasant Run Parkway South Drive - Garfield Park
Opened on April 17, 1991, this busy firehouse is currently home to Engine, Ladder, TSU and Squad 29 and the Urban Search and Rescue Task Force. It also acts as a staging location for Wishard Medic 29.

Engine 29 - 2015 Pierce Saber Pumper (28205TR-02) - 1500gpm/500gal
This apparatus was one of two Sabers (along with E-5) that entered service in the spring of 2015. E-29 was on display at FDIC 2015.

Ladder 29 - 2009 Pierce Arrow XT 105' HD Aerial (#21769)
This apparatus was originally built as a stock ladder truck by Pierce. It was then used in Seasons 5 & 6 of the TV Show "Rescue Me" on FX. It was sold to IFD through Global and entered service on November 5, 2010 with approximately 4900 miles on it. Some of the graphics from the show remain including the FDNY striping and Fire logo, the Ladder 62 logo on the ladder board and a dedication to the names of four fictitious firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11. While a lot of people want to see this truck because of its unique history, the crews of Ladder Company 29 are simply glad to have a new, taller and more capable rig!

Squad 29 - 2016 Ford F-550/Custom Truck & Body Works (#1757)
Squad 29 handles a majority of the EMS and medical calls from Station 29. It also responds throughout all of Battalion 6 for box alarms extrication and fire calls.

Squad 29 - 2016 Ford F-450/Custom Truck & Body Works (#1757)
Squad 29 was one of three new Squads (7,14,29) delivered in June 2016 from Custom Truck and Body Works, Inc. out of Woodbury, GA. Note that these were very similarly designed as three previous Ford/American Fire & Rescue rigs back in 2002. While Squads 7 and 14 carry some specialized gear to go along with that house's specialty, 29's rig runs primarily as a medic response unit and has lots of extra space in it. Another interesting feature of these rigs is a touch screen in the cab that controls all the lighting.

Tactical Support Unit 29 - 2017 Ford F-550/2018 Pierce (31756-01)
This apparatus represents the first of a smaller TSU design at IFD. This particular rig is equipped with a 2-bottle cascade system, but no on-board compressor. It also carries spare bottles, packs, masks and assorted tools, as well as spare parts to service the airpacks.

Tactical Support Unit 29 - 2004 Ferrara Inferno - Heavy Rescue Air Truck w/Command Cab
This large TSU serves primarily as an Air Truck. However, it's new pump systems allows to fill SCBA or SCUBA tanks on scene. It also has a long hose extension for setting up a air refill station inside a building for high-rise incidents.

With it's command cab and desk, TSU 29 had the ability to serve as the command post for the Urban Search and Rescue Team. However, it was rarely used for this purpose and the next generation of TSU's at IFD were considerably smaller.

Tactical 29 - 2000 United Express Line - Moble Command Trailer
Tactical 29 is pulled by Squad 29 and responds on all Urban Search and Rescue calls.
