Station 33 - 3430 North Moller Road - "El Wild, Wild West"
This single-engine firehouse opened on October 26, 1964. It protects the west side of Indianapolis just north of Speedway.

Engine 33 - 2016 Pierce Saber Pumper (#29262TR-04) - 2000gpm/500gal
E33 entered service in June 2016. It replaced a 12-year old Sutphen Monarch pumper, which was the only Sutphen in the fleet for many years.

Engine 33 - 2004 Sutphen Shield Series Pumper - 1500gpm/750gal
Engine 33 is the only Sutphen in the IFD fleet and was purchased with emergency appropriation funds in September 2004. Engine 33 protects the far westside from it's location north of the Town of Speedway.

This rig was repainted, restriped and had a steel bumper added in 2011. Heavy duty steel bumpers have become a standard spec since 2009 and are also being used to replace damaged stainless steel bumpers around the department. Note the updates from the 2007 photo below.
