Indianapolis Fire Department Station 34 - 1925 West Edgewood Avenue
Built in 2004 by the residents of Perry Township, this protects the city's far south side along IN-37. This building offers a dramatically larger home compared to what was then Perry Township Station 4 (and eventually IFD station 64 after the merger). On January 1, 2014, this house was officially re-designated as Station 34.

Engine 34 - 2005 E-One Typhoon Pumper - 1500gpm/1000gal
This apparatus was originally assigned as Perry Township Engine 663 on the southeast side. Due to it's larger tank capacity, it was reassigned in October 2008 as Engine 64, which has a mixed residential, industrial and rural district. With the merger of Perry Township into IFD, it now serves as IFD Engine 34.

When PTFD merged with IFD in August 2009, this apparatus was reassigned as Tactical Rescue 64 for Heavy Extrication on the city's southside. It now responds as Tac 34 from the re-desginated Station 34.
