This firehouse was completed in December 2007 and serves as home to Engine, Ladder and Tanker 55.

E-55 is setup as a Rescue Pumper and responds to fire, extrication and medical calls from this station on the far eastside.

Engine 55 was the second of two identical Seagrave Marauders delivered to Franklin Township in 2007. It has a twin at Engine 52.

Ladder 55 - 2016 Pierce Arrow XT 75ft Aerial (#29263-02)
L-55 entered service in June 2016 and was the first apparatus specifically ordered for this firehouse's shorter apparatus bays. It has a twin at Ladder 4. L55 carries 106ft of ground ladders and basic extrication equipment. It also includes a full LED light package, spot lights facing up both sides of the stick, a 8kw generator and an EMS compartment in the cab.

Ladder 55 is the first-due aerial truck for most of Franklin Township.

Tanker 6 (x55) - 1990 GMC/Volvo/? - 250gpm/4000gal
TK-6 is one of only three manned tankers at IFD. Each shift this apparatus is cross-manned by one driver and can respond anywhere throughout the northside of Marion County.

Tanker 55 - 1999 Navistar/2018 IFD - 4000gal
This apparatus originally served the Franklin Township Fire Department and then IFD as Tanker 52. For several years it was kept at the 52's as a unmanned reserve tanker. In 2018, the tank was re-lined and it had new graphics added. It returned to frontline service as a manned tanker at Station 55.
