This building previously served as Lawrence Township/Castleton Volunteer Fire Department headquarters and included all of the department's administrative offices. This station and all of its apparatus were reassigned from #331 to #9 on January 12, 2010 as part of a county-wide communication reorganization. The former administration offices now house the classrooms and personnel assigned to part of IFD's Training Department.
