Jonesville
Volunteer Fire Department


The small town of Jonesville is located 60 miles south of Indianapolis along IN-11 in southeastern Bartholomew County. This all-volunteer department includes 20 members who respond from two stations. JVFD provides Fire and medical first-Responder protection to the residents of Jonesville and unincorporated Wayne Township. ALS transport is provided throughout much of the county by Columbus Regional Hospital EMS.

Station 1
Jonesville Station 1 - Walnut & Washington Streets
Station 1 protects the southern portion of JVFD's district. It is home to Engine 55 and Brush 53.

This apparatus served at Greenwood until 2001 and then Whiteland from 2001-2006. Engine 56 responds from Station 2 along
County Road 450 S. This firehouse is located just west of IN-11 and aproximately 1-1/2 miles east of Columbus Station 6.
