Volunteer Fire Department

Georgetown is located 10 miles southwest of Logansport along IN-24 and the Wabash River in southwest Cass County. This all-volunteer department provides Fire and Medical First-Responder protection to the residents of Georgetown and Lake Cicott. and Harrison Township.

Station

Georgetown Fire Station - US-24 - Lake Cicott
Completed in 2007, this building will serve as the department's primary station and GVFD Headquarters. The department intends
to use their original station (located in Georgetown along the Wabash River) as a second station that will eventually house a tanker.

This apparatus began its career as a Carroll County EMS unit. It then served Burlington, IN before being purchased for use at Georgetown. This unit reponds to all Medical calls.
