Jeffersonville is located immediately across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky in southern Clark County. Founded in 1871, Jeffersonville is a career department who respond from 4 stations. JFD provides Fire, Heavy Rescue, non-transport EMS and Hazmat protection to approximately 30,000 residents and 30 square miles. |

| Station 1 - 735 Wall Street This three-bay firehouse protects the city's west side including Clark Memorial Hospital, portions of I-65 and the Ohio River. It is currently home to Engine 1, Reserve Engine 3 and the JFD Fire/Rescue boat. |

| Station 2 - East 10th Street - JFD Headquarters This beautiful and well-planned station was opened in March 2008. It serves as JFD Headquarters with administration offices and meeting rooms to the right and crew quarters to the left of the four drive-through apparatus bays. This huge station is significantly larger than their former station and is poised to serve the department for decades to come. |
