is located immediately across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky
in southern Clark County. Founded in 1871, Jeffersonville is a career department
who respond from 4 stations. JFD provides Fire, Heavy Rescue, non-transport EMS and Hazmat protection to approximately 30,000 residents and 30 square miles. |

| Station 4 - East 10th Street (State Road 62) - Far Eastside Station 4 was completed in 2008. This firehouse now serves as home to Engine 4, Reserve Engine 6 and a seldom-used Jeffersonville/Clarksville Hazmat Truck. This station protects the fast-growing east side of the city.. |

| Hazmat Unit - Ford/Mickey This apparatus support a joint response group from Clarksville and Jeffersonville Fire Departments who can respond to Hazardous Materials incidents. Located near several commercial locations along the Ohio River, this apparatus was reassigned to Station 4 in the fall of 2008. This truck is now considered a support unit only and rarely sees service. |
