Utica Township Fire Department The City of Jeffersonville is located 25 miles north of Louisville, KY along I-65 in northern Clark County. Monroe Township Fire Department was established in 1949. Nearby Underwood VFD was organized in 1974 and then merged into Monroe Twp in 1997. This combination department now includes more than 40 members that respond from a three stations. MTFD protects nearly 100 square miles including the towns of Henryville and Underwood. |
