Volunteer Fire Department

The Town of Coalmont is located 65 miles west-southwest of Indianapolis along IN-159 in the far southwest corner of Clay County. Established in 1967, this all-volunteer department provides Fire, Rescue and first-responder EMS protection to the towns of Coalmont and surrounding areas of Lewis Township.
