Royerton is located 10 miles north of Muncie, along US-35 in north central Delaware County. Organized in 1974, this all-volunteer department includes 36 members who respond to nearly 420 runs each year from two stations. HTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to 36 square miles and 12,000 residents including Royerton and Hamilton Township.

Station 1 (Royerton) - E. Royerton Road & US 35
This firehouse was built in 1974 when the department was first founded. Additions and renovations occurred in 1995. Station 1
is currently home to Engine 111, Squad 112, Tankers 115 & 118 and Squad 119.

Equipped with a set o Amkus Rescue Tools, Squad 112 is first-due for most incidents, including extrications, from Station 1.

115 serves as the primary mutual aid rig at HTFD. This apparatus had to have it's tank reduced from 2800 gallons due to
driveability and safety concerns.

With it's - 4x4 chassis and pump & roll capabilities, this rig is used by the department as now used as a big brush truck.
