The City of Muncie is located 59 miles northeast of Indianapolis along
I-69 in central Delaware County. Muncie's 7 stations provide Fire and Rescue protection to 67,000+ residents and the 19,000 students
of Ball State University.

Station 4
Station 4 - Mock Street - Southeast
Nestled into a largely residential area, this single-engine firehouse protects the Southeast side of Muncie.

Pumps 4, 5 & 6 are triplet pumpers that were all delivered in early 1992. This apparatus previously served as 2 Pump prior
to the arrival of the new Squad in 2000.

Station 5-2
Station 5 - Tillotson Avenue
The 5's protects the Ball State University Campus and Ball Memorial Hospital. Built in 1960, this firehouse is home to
5 Pump and 7 Pump (aerial). It previously housed a Snorkel that served here for years before being retired in 2007.

Former Snorkel 5 - 1990 Simon-Duplex/Summit/Pierce 85' Snorkel - 1250gpm/300gal
Snorkel 5 protected the Ball State University Campus for many years. With age, it was moved to reserve status and
eventually retired in 2007. This great rig is scheduled to be sold at auction in late 2008/2009.
