Indiana Fire Trucks: Muncie Fire Department

	Muncie Fire Department Stations 6 & 7 The City of Muncie is located 59 miles northeast of Indianapolis along I-69 in central Delaware County. Muncie's 7 stations provide Fire and Rescue protection to 67,000+ residents and the 19,000 students of Ball State University.


Station 6 - Northwest Station 6 sits in front of McCullch Park on the city's northwest side. This single-engine house was updated around 2002 to add a second drive-through apparatus bay.

Station 7 - Wheeling Avenue - Northside

7 Pump - 1984 Sutphen 75' Mid-mount ladder - 1250gpm/500 gal 7 Pump serves it's own district for Fire and BLS calls much like a typical engine company. However, it also responds anywhere on the northside as the primary Ladder Company for structure fires.


Medic 7 (EMS 2206) - 2003 Ford E-350/Lifestar Ambulance Medic 7 is the only DCEMS Unit that shares quarters with a fire department. Responding from MFD Station 7, this rig protects the northside of Muncie and Delaware County. DCEMS is an entirely separate entity which can be seen on their own separate page here at IFT.
