Harrison Township Harrison Township is located 35 miles ESE of South Bend between Goshen and Wakarusa in southwest Elkhart County. This rural fire district is mostly farmland and residential including a sizeable Amish and Mennonite Community. This all-volunteer department includes 23 members who respond from two fire stations. HTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to 3,000 residents and 25 square miles. |
