Station

Franklin Township Fire Station - Union St and US 40 - Lewisville
This firehouse was built in 1998, after the department's previous home was torched by an arsonist on 12-29-96.

E12-1
Engine 12-1 - 1998 Freightliner FL80/Ferrara Rescue Pumper (H1054) - 1250gpm/1000gal
With both Engines equipped with extrication tools, Engines 12-1 and 12-2 alternate each month as to which one responds
first-due for fires and accident calls.

E12-2
Engine 12-2 - 1990 Spartan/1978 Pierce Pumper - 1000gpm/1000gal
This apparatus was purchased from New Danville, PA in 2007. The Pierce body was originally mounted on a Ford C chassis
that was wrecked.

Tk12-5
Tanker 12-5 - 1991 International/1998 FD Custom - 150gpm/2500gal
After the arson fire consumed their firehouse and apparatus in 1996, this tank was the only usable item salvageable. If you look
closely around the edge of the tank fill on top, you can see it's scorched. Department members re-mounted the tank and added
the compartments.

R12-7
Rescue 12-7 - 1997 Ford F-350/Warner - 200gpm/300gal
This apparatus responds as first-due for both medical calls and brush fires.

Special thanks to Chief Scott Spurgin for his help in arranging the apparatus for these pictures and for providing
department background and history
