New Lisbon
Volunteer Fire Department


The small town of New Lisbon is located 51 miles east of Indianapolis just north of I-70 in southwest Henry County. Organized in 1947, this all-volunteer department includes 14 members who respond to 80 runs each year. NLVFD provides Fire and Medical First-Responder protection to the 25 square miles of the Town of New Lisbon, the northern half of Dudley Township and about 7.5 miles of I-70.

Station
New Lisbon Fire Station
Built in 1996, this firehouse has a unique feature inside it's apparatus bay. Five large tanks, installed by department members
hold 5500 gallons from which they can refill their tanker.
