Volunteer Fire Department

The Town of Freelandville is located 100 miles southwest of Indianapolis in northeastern Knox County. Currently 25 volunteer members of FVFD provide Fire and Rescue protection to approximately 1,000 residents in the Town of Freelandville and Widner Township. EMS Service is provided locally by Southwest Ambulance Service.

Completed in 2000, this firehouse is located right downtown along IN-159 at IN-58. It is home to all 4 FVFD apparatus.
