Palmyra
Township is located in the small town of Frichton, just east of Vincennes
along US-50 in Knox County. Started in 1983, this relatively young
department provides Fire and Rescue protection to approximately 2,000
people and 15 square miles of Palmyra Township.

First Response-8 is the first due for rescue/medical calls. It also serves as
the department's Grass Rig.
Tanker 8 - 1981 International/TA Brouilette - 250gpm/1800gal TA Brouilette was a Vincennes welding/fabricating company that built
a number of brush trucks and tankers for
departments in the area until they closed in 2002
