Station 3
The Town of Ainsworth is located 48 miles southeast of Chicago along IN-51 & Old Lincoln Highway in east-central Lake County along the county line. Organized in 1953, this all-volunteer department includes 20 members who respond to an average of 100 runs each year. In, 2000 ADRVFD was merged into Ross Township Fire Service and protects the southeast side of the township. ADRVFD provides Fire, Rescue & Medical First Responder protection to 5,000 residents in an area of 10 square miles.

Equipped with Hurst extrication tools, E-9 runs first-out on all fire calls and second-out on MVA calls. |

R-3 is first-due for all accident and rescue calls at ADR. This rig carries a wide variety of equipment including Hurst extrication tools, cribbing, air bags, lift bags, hand tools, various medical supplies, extra SCBA's and Water & Ice Rescue Equipment. |

Unit 2 - 1996 GMC Silverado Unit 2 runs first out on all medical calls and can also be used to transport additional manpower to larger incidents. |
