New Chicago The small town of New Chicago is located 39 miles southeast of Chicago along Ridge Road in eastern Lake County. Organized in 1952, the 17 members of this department provide Fire, Rescue & BLS non-transport protection to 2,001 residents in an area of just 1.2 square miles. |

| Engine 22 - 2004 Kenworth/Pierce Rescue Pumper -1250gpm/1000gal E-22 is first out on all fire and MVA calls. It is equipped with a Hurst Combi-Tool, Lift Bags and Cribbing to assist with vehicle accidents and light extrication. |
