Lincoln Township Fish Lake is located southeast of LaPorte along IN-4 near the LaPorte/St. Joseph County Line. Organized in 1956, LTVFD includes 21 volunteer members who respond to 145 runs each year. Six apparatus respond from a two stations to provide Fire, Rescue and BLS non-transport protection to 2,000 residents and over 30 square miles. The population of their district surges each summer a high as 5,000 due to the lakes and recreational areas located here. |
