Volunteer Fire Deparment

The Town of Heltonville is located 93 miles SSW of Indianapolis along IN-158 in west-central Lawrence County. Organized in 1961, this all-volunteer department includes 18 members who respond to 150 runs each year. PRTVFD provides Fire and Medical First-Responder protection to all 69 square miles of this rural township.

This apparatus was originally mounted on a 1969 Ford F800 and served the NEBCO VFD of Garfield, Arkansas. It was
remounted on a 1994 Internatinal chassis during a refurb by McGinley in Lebanon, IN.
