Fire Department

Van Buren Township is located immediately west of IN-37 and south of IN-48 near Bloomington. This combination department's two stations protect a largely rural district including the Monroe County Airport.

Station 9

Station 9 - 2130 S. Kirby Road at the Monroe County Airport.
Built in 1973, this firehouse is home to Engine 9, Rescue 9, Squad 9, Brush 92 and Cars 900 and 901.

This two-bay firehouse protects the west end of Van Buren Township. It is home to Engine 91 and Brush 19-2.
