Owen Valley Fire Station - Walnut Street at Sout Short Street
The Owen Valley Fire Department was formed in 1971 to provide fire protection to Washington Township. In 2005 the town of Spencer decided not to renew their contract with the Spencer FD and instead signed a contract with Owen Valley FD to protect the Town of Spencer. This effectively put the Spencer FD out of business. Apparatus from the two departments were combined to
protect the entire district. The current station was built in 2000.
