Bridgeton
Volunteer Fire Department

The Town of Bridgeton is located 70 miles west of Indianapolis along CR-300E in southeast Parke County. The department includes 22 members who respond to 70 runs each year. BVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical first-responder protection to the residents of Bridgeton.

Completed in 1994, this firehouse is home to all six BVFD apparatus as well as a Conservation Department Airboat.

722 responds to all brush fires at Bridgeton. Due to it's size and accessibility, it also responds to Fire and Medical runs during the Annual Covered Bridg Festival when the town is completely packed.
