Pike County EMS

The City of Petersburg is located 125 miles southwest of Indianapolis at the crossroads of IN-57, IN-56 and IN-61 in northern along IN-57 in northern Pike County. Organized in the late 1970's, the department is fully funded by Pike County. PCEMS' central station is manned 24/7 and usually has 2 crews during the week. Two additional unmanned units are located in Otwell and Spurgeon.

Pike County EMS Base - Corner of State Roads 61 and 56.
This base is located at the County garage alongside Pike Central middle/high school. Two additional unmanned units are
located in Otwell and Spurgeon as shown below. Both of the local fire department there have a number of members who
respond with those ambulances, some of whom are employed by EMS as their full/part time job.
