The Town of Hebron is is located 40 miles southeast of Chicago at the crossroads of US-231, IN-8 and IN-2 in southwest Porter County. The 30 members of this all-volunteer department provide Fire, Rescue and BLS non-transport protection to 7,579 residents and 90 square miles including the Town of Hebron, Boone Township and Eagle Creek Township in Lake County.

Rescue 1736 - 2008 International/Phoenix Equipment
Rescue 1736 is first out on all car accidents with a full set of Hurst Extrication Tools including Lift Bags, Air Bags,
Cribbing and Rams. This rig is also equipped with a Cascade System, a Wil-Bert Light Towe, 15K Generator, Hand
Tools, an AED and Various Medical Supplies. R-1736 is BLS Non-Transport Certified.
