Luce Township
Volunteer Fire Department

The Towns of Hatfield and Richland City are located along IN-66 and IN-161, 20 miles east of Evansville, in western Spencer County. Organized in 1964, the 32 members of this all-volunteer department respond to approximately 160 runs each year. LTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to 56 square miles.

Station 2
Station 2 - State Road 161 & CR 395N - Richland City
Built in in 2002, Station 2 serves as department headquarters. It is home to Engine 2, Rescue 6 and Tanker 4 (not shown).

Rescue 6 - 1996 Ford F-350/MCB/Miller Truck
Carrying a set of Amkus Rescue Tools, this apparatus responds to Rescue and extrication calls from Station 2.

Station 1 - Old State Road 66 - Hatfield
Built in 1995, Station 1 is home to Tanker 1, Engine 3 and Rescue 5.

With it's external dump valves, this apparatus can serve as a tanker as well as a pumper.

R5 responds first due to all brush fires and medical calls at Luce Township.
