Lakeville/Union
Township Fire Department
The Town of Lakeville is located 10 miles south of the South Bend along US-31 in
St. Joseph County. The Town and Township includes mostly residential and
commercial areas including a portion of the heavily traveled
US-31 corridor. Established in 1950, this volunteer department provides Fire and Rescue protection to approximately 1,500 residents. ALS/BLS Transport is provided by South Bend Fire Department Medic 10 or the nearby Lakeville/Lapaz EMS Service. |

Lakeville/Union Township Central Fire Station
The Lakeville Fire Station shares it's quarters with the Lakeville Town Hall. While visible from US-31, the main apparatus
bay responds 6 apparatus out the eastside of the station. |

566 is first due for accidents and most rescue calls. It includes extrication equipment and an on-board cascade system. |

With limited hydrant locations within the township, this rig can be used to deliver and shuttle water during rural incidents.. |

This well-preserved Jeep served as a show truck for the previous owner. It is the second-due brush truck at Lakeville. |
