| Brush 1073 - 1974 Ford F-750/Bean/1989 Wolverine - 1000gpm/1000gal This apparatus was replaced as a frontline engine in 88. It was then sent to Wolverine and had the original Bean high pressure pump replaced. It now runs as a brush unit, but can be used as an engine if necessary. When the department applied for a grant for a new engine, they were informed they already had too many. Therefore, this rig was officially reassigned as a brush unit! |

| Antique Engine - 1920 American LaFrance Type 40 - 600gpm This apparatus has made it's way around the Hoosier state. It started it's life as Indianapolis Engine 28. It then served in Clermont, IN when they still had their own Department. It was then purchased by Liberty Township as a parade piece in 1963. They had to build a new custom wooden rear wheel for it because the old one ruined when they got it. Both of the antique apparatus are stored at the Chief's house in the summer and then elsewhere indoors in the winter. |
