Freemont Fire/Rescue

The Town of Fremont is the furthest northeast town in Indiana, located east of I-69 along US-120 in Steuben County. Established in the 1930's, the Fremont fire department is a combination of 29 career and volunteer members. Fremont provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First Responder protection to 85 square miles with a population of 2,500 residents. They cover many townships and towns including the Town of Fremont, Fremont Township, parts of York, Scott Township, Town of Clear Lake and Clear Lake Township. As well as California Township in southeast Michigan. Fremont Fire Department is the second busiest fire department in Steuben County with 450 to 500 calls per year.

Extrication Equipment as well as serve as a support truck.
