The rural town of Folsomville is located 30 miles northeast of Evansville in northeastern Warrick County along IN-261. Formed in 1981, the FOTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First Responder protection to approximately 500 residents and 30 square miles in the Town of Folsomville and Owen Township.

After the department was formed in 1981, this station was built in 1982 and houses all four of their apparatus.

This rig was donated to the department by the nearby Alcoa Plant in 2002. Note it's unique hose bed that lays across the top of
the rig with sideways access instead of the rear. This was likely designed to make it easier to pull hose in the tight quarters of
the industrial plant.
